I am currently looking for a particular plant species to further investigate its possible anticancerous properties. Have you come across interesting species or maybe read a paper which suggests that a particular plant species requires further study? Is aloe vera over studied? This is for a thesis by the way :/

No, but the best part about it the vast amount of information you can find, especially since its genome has been sequenced. How about the foxglove plant?
