im guessing this is hardy weinberg, but your title is rather confusing to read. bottleneck effect- something like a volcano kills all the homeless people, those homeless people need to be brought out of an environment and put into a specific one in the middle of brooklyn where they can repopulate and make even more homeless people. - this is a fun way of saying it, apply a population in for homeless people

A bottleneck greatly reduces genetic diversity in a population.  Subsequent generations will be inbred and display "inbreeding depression" because deleterious recessive alleles are more likely to match up.  This can be a problem because a disease that affects one individual can potentially affect every individual in the population 'cause they're all so similar.
