I did a test for science and there was a bigger zone of inhibition with the lemon than the lime
but the lime is supposedly higher in acidity
so does lime have this acid?

Lime is supposed to be more acidic than lemon juice, however it may not react the same way.
Also, did you measure your pH before you started? As you may have had concentrated lemon juice or weak lime juice as a result of a contaminate.

Lemon juice contains ethanoic acid and this acid breaks down the cell membranes of the bacteria.
