4 -- Manifestations of a fractured nose include epistaxis, deformity, or displacement to one side, crepitus, periorbital edema and ecchymosis (bruising), and nasal bridge instability. Shortness of breath, diaphoresis, and a decrease in blood pressure are not typical anticipated responses to patients who experience a nasal fracture.
