What is the difference between DNA transcription and DNA translation.  How do they work?  Thanks a lot.

DNA transcription is when you take DNA, copy a little piece of it (a gene) and convert it into mRNA (a messenger molecule).

DNA translation is when you take that mRNA (the messenger molecule) and convert it into a polypeptide (future protein).
