According to the text, some critics of youth sport argue that organized sport has become too expensive for ordinary and less affluent Canadian families.  Other critics may argue that:
   a)  if parents prioritize sport participation for their children, they will find ways to pay for sports
b)  the structure of organized sport is too competitive and has been institutionalized according to adult values making sport a less enjoyable activity for youth
   c)  money for sport is less a concern than our current video game culture
d)  children and youth are simply not interested in either learning new skills or making friends and having fun through sport
