Hey everybody! I am new to this community and am currently taking Biology I at a local community college! I am going for Nursing and was wondering if anybody else in the community was going for nursing and had any recommendations for me, as I used to be a math major and am looking for a specialty to fall under eventually in Nursing. I was thinking nurse practicioner or nurse anaesticist.. any thoughts?

Going from mathematics to nursing? That's a major jump... From my experience using this website, there are a lot of nurses that register, and presumably a lot of nursing jobs. Curious, however, I'm sure you've been job hunting for math jobs, are they few and far between? I always assumed that math-related jobs are in abundance.

Anyway, welcome to BF.
