Agnosia is the failure to identify objects despite intact sensory function. Apraxia is the ina-bility to carry out purposeful, complex movements and use objects properly. Aphasia refers to inability to speak (expressive) or inability to comprehend what is said or written (receptive). Amnesia is inability to remember a significant block of information.
