In United States v. Salero (1987) the Supreme Court ruled that
 
  A. coerced confessions are inadmissible.
  B. the bail amount should not be excessive.
  C. evidence obtained during an illegal search and seizure is inadmissible.
  D. judicial instructions must be given to ignore pretrial information.
