1.) The sodium-potassium exchange pump
A) transports potassium ions out of the cell during repolarization.
B) transports sodium ions into the cell during depolarization.
C) moves sodium and potassium in the direction of their chemical gradients.
D) must re-establish ion concentrations after each action potential.
E) requires ATP to function

(I think it is E but I am unsure)...

2.) When voltage-gated K+ channels of a resting neuron open,
A) the neuron depolarizes.
B) K+ enters the neuron.
C) K+ enters the neuron and the neuron depolarizes.
D) K+ leaves the neuron.
E) K+ leaves the neuron and the neuron depolarizes.

(Also think its E...?)
