- Westrock school has 438 students of which 136 students cannot roll their tongues. Students who can roll their tongues are phenotypically dominant to non-rollers. Find the number of students who are homozygous dominant.

- In a randomly mating population of Drosophila, 2% of the flies have black bodies ( an autosomal, recessive trait) and the rest have brown bodies. This population is assumed to be in Hardy Weinberg equilibrium. What is the frequency of the dominant allele for a population of 10 000 Drosophila?

For first question you have recessive which is 136/438 which is q^2 use that to find p^2. By using p + q = 1.00

Second question the recessive is 2% of 10 000 that gives you q^2. you need to find p.
