Concerning the problem of faith and reason, Aquinas taught that
 
 

a. they are separate domains with no overlap.
  b. anything that can be known through reason can be known through faith.
   c. there are truths that can only be known through faith and some that can be known through either faith or reason.
  d. faith and reason are in conflict and one must follow one or the other, but not both.
