4.   obtain humor books pertaining to illness, such as Anatomy of an Illness, or watch several episodes of “Three Stooges” on TV.

Contact with persons who have coped with all the aspects of ostomies are excellent resources for the persons with new ostomies. Every effort is made to send a volunteer of the same age and gender.
