Following an angiogram, the nurse will make a point of care to assess and document:
1.   fluid intake.
2.   peripheral pulses in effected leg.
3.   inquiring about allergy to iodine.
4.   decreased blood pressure.

Checking and recording the presence and strength of the pulses in the affected leg ensure that the injection site has not occluded the vessel and that vascular spasm has not impaired circulation. Inquiry about iodine allergy is done before the procedure.
