The cause of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is unknown. One factor being considered is an autoimmune reaction. A medication commonly used to treat IBD according to this theory is:
1.   multivitamins.
2.   anticoagulants.
3.   diuretics.
4.   steroids.
