An appropriate nursing diagnosis for a patient with hypoparathyroidism would be:
1.   Activity intolerance and risk for injury related to decreased bone mass.
2.   Decreased cardiac output related to hypocalcemia.
3.   Constipation related to decreased intestinal motility.
4.   Disturbed thought processes related to hypercalcemia.
