Are there any evolutionarily advantageous consequences for our species, given that human dominance structuring is a natural phenomenon?

Yes. Once we commit to a given decision option, we gain confidence that our choice was the best one available and that the other options would have been mistakes. With confidence in the choice we have made, we are able to take action and to persevere during difficulties. We would hardly be able to accomplish anything were we to constantly reconsider every decision and change our minds. Our natural tendency toward dominance structuring helps us to be resolute and to sustain our commitments in the face of adversity, risk, and uncertainty. The natural culling out those who could not sustain their decisions in such circumstances has created evolutionary advantages for our species.
