Japan agreed to only give passports to Japanese professionals and the U.S. agreed to desegregate education and housing between Japanese residents and white residents in California


the attributes were used to justify social divisions and hierarchies; reinforced the idea that certain groups were biologically/inherently inferior to others; shaped scientific claims and eugenics efforts
