According to Buddhists, the use of euthanasia as a means of relieving suffering
   a.   is wrong because humans, as creations of God, do not have a right to destroy their own lives.
   b.   is morally permissible under the principle of ahimsa (mercy).
   c.   may prevent the person from working out his or her negative karma.
   d.   may be a moral duty if the patient is a burden on the family and is no longer socially useful.
