Answer to q. 1

The seminiferous tubules provide the sperm. Seminal vesicles, the prostate, and bulbourethral glands provide a thick fluid that contributes to semen. The seminal vesicles produce fructose (a sugar) that serves as the energy source for sperm. Prostate gland secretions help raise the pH of the female reproductive tract, making it more hospitable to sperm. Bulbourethral glands, secrete an alkaline mucus that neutralizes any residue of acidic urine in the urethra.
