Answer to q. 1

Cnidarians have a nerve net, which threads through two tissue layers and coordinates responses to
stimuli. However, there is no central control organ or brain. Arthropods have a highly organized
central nervous system, which coordinates responses through three tissue layers.

Answer to q. 2

Cephalopods have separate sexes and elaborate courtship behaviors. Some cephalopods can learn to
recognize objects with distinctive shapes or colors and can be trained to approach or avoid them. Their
image-forming eyes are also similar.
