Briefly describe the consequences of incorrect DNA replication or DNA damage in a specific disease.

Incorrect DNA replication leads to the possible spread of mutation, which surprisingly and theoretically can lead to cancer. These cells grow out of control and do not undergo apoptosis, they also can spread. If cancer does not result, cell damage triggers a pathway in the cell that leads to programmed cell death, apoptosis.
