Hi emilyliv

Before I start, take a good look at this, did I write it correctly?

yes, except the -tan a is squared by 2 as well.

This question was a nasty one, but I proved it:

Thank you so much but I was confused with the combining part of, sin^2a + -cos^4a - sin^2a/cos^2a and sin^2acos^2a - cos^4a -sin a. As well as the cos^2a(sin^2a - cos^2a) - sin^2a.

Hi emilyliv

I added several more annotations for you to follow along.

Hope this makes more sense

i'm sorry but, It still kind of confuses me, can you explain what you did for the combining part and the multiplying, it just doesn't make sense to me. As well as the -sin^4a + sin^2acos^2a-cos^2a/1-sin^2a part.
