The Great Gatsby - Conclusion Help

This is my conclusion involving The Great Gatsby, just wanted to know if it was good/well written.
To conclude, the author, Fitzgerald wants to make readers understand that the American Dream is the relentless search for something greater, but to truly attain the American dream can be difficult. The title character, Jay Gatsby, of the novel, The Great Gatsby, was able to acquire his vision at first when he acquired higher wealth and social status through the love of his life, Daisy Buchannan. In fact, his dream for Daisy is what ultimately led to his destruction by hosting parties and general wealth, which is shown that he is unable to recognize the morals and values of a person. Ultimately, it doesn't matter how Gatsby made his money, just that he had a dream and achieved it through hard work and determination. Gatsby was so focused on his dream to Daisy, that he did not form any true friendships until he met Nick. Overall, Fitzgerald conveys that being too focused on the American Dream can distract one from living in the moment.
