Hello all, please I need your help to correct this letter for any grammar mistakes.
Dear mr. Arroyo:
This is to follow up on our discussion about the event for our Jackie Thompson’s new book, “the Perfect Dinner Party.” All of us at BBP are so excited about holding the launch just in time for the Holidays. As discussed, we would like to schedule the party for December 21st, at the Yale Club—the authors Alma Mater where she earned a Ph.D in film—located on Vanderbilt Ave across from grand central terminal. As Best Book Publishing is a new Company we hope Miss Thompson’s book will be a bestseller and that this event can help us improve our Branding in the NY publishing world.
Just a little history about BBP We opened our doors 2 years ago on July 1st. As I’m sure you know on a Summer weekend on the east coast the publishing movers-and-shakers had taken off for the Beaches. We gave a party at a supporters home in the hamptons on Long Island, but we were one of dozens of places to go that weekend, and attendance was sparse. We have not given a party since therefore the launch of PDP is our chance to hit the bigtime. 200 guests are the minimum we want to attract. If you can brign in more, we’ll spend up to 25 thousand dollars on this important exciting event.
As we discussed, we are open to either the 21st or the twenty-second of Dec. The book will be in bookstores by 12/19 and Jackie’s book tour starts in Philadelphia, Pa on Dec. 24.
Can you give me an update by November 1st? The best time to catch me is in the before 9 a.m..
