Randomized clinical trials are commonly used to determine whether or not a treatment is effective. One group of subjects is given a treatment, while another is given a placebo. Ideally, the study is double-blind, meaning that neither the subjects nor whoever is assessing whether or not the treatment has had an effect knows what condition the subject is in. Such procedures are designed to control for potential bias.

I remember reading somewhere that clinical trials are based on probability.
Like what is the probability that a person suffering from a disease for which he has volunteered will be cured and something like that.
I don't feel like riding until everything blurs.

Clinical trials are based on observations. If someone experiences kidney stones while taking a certain medicine, then the formation of kidney stones is a possible symptom.
