This may be a silly question, but is tobacco smoke the same as cigarette smoke?

No, it's different because I believe cigarettes are not made entirely of pure tobacco.

If it was not specified in articles the components of each or the concentration if tobacco in cifarettes, should I still refer to them as separate or the same? I need to make a review of a number of articles and was wondering how I should refer to these technicalities..
I am asking this because I have seen around 10 articles now, and they only introduce the type of smoke namely cigarette or tobacco.. It is confusing.. Especially since they do not tabulate or describe what it contains..

I believe cigarettes contain additives that alter its smell and flavour. Pure tobacco is pure tobacco.
