In teaching Hebrew to her students, Mrs. Shafir wanted to make sure that her students recognized each unit of sound, as in this language, the sound differences are hard to distinguish between. For example, a “ha” and “cha” sound can be confused between if someone is not a native speaker. Which approach would lend itself better to learning Hebrew in this way?
a.   phonics- based reading.
b.   whole- language approach to reading
c.   sight-words- based reading
d.   literacy- based reading
