Brown hair is dominant to blond hair. Assume that a single gene has two alleles (B and b) that control hair color and that blond-haired individuals possess homozygous recessive alleles (bb). See periodic table on google,

learn all noble gas configurations- 2,8,18,36,54. .

So it's a rule that Noble gas -1 = HALOGEN.
36-1 = 35 (bromine.)

Secondly, one always wants to attain a noble gas configuration, hence all hallogen will have 1- charge only, to be like nearest noble element.

p = # of individuals with dominant allele
q = # of individuals with recessive allele

a) homozygous brown haired individuals means BB individuals

Step 1) Find # of individuals with dominant allele
p = # of brown haired individuals in the population
p = 168/200

Step 2) Find the frequency of having BB in the population
from the equation p^2 + 2pq + q^2 = 1
p^2 = the frequency of homozygous genotype of BB
p^2 = (168/200)^2

b) heterozygous individuals have Bb
2pq = the frequency of heterozygous individuals
Step 1) from p + q = 1, q = # of blond hair individuals in the population
q = 1 - p = 1 - (168/200)

Step 2) from p^2 + 2pq + q^2 = 1
2pq = frequency of heterozygous
2pq = 2 x (168/200) x (1-(168/200))

c) blond haired individuals are those with bb genotype
q^2 = frequency of homozygous recessive individuals
q^2 = [1-(168/200)]^2
