a series circuit consists of a 0.5?F capacitor, a coil inductance of 0.32H and a resistance of 40? and a 20? non-inductive resistor. calculate the value of resonant frequency of a circuit.

i dont know why the question gives you resistance values.

i thought to get frequency the formual was ?=1/(LC)^(1/2)

i use to know this about 40 years ago.The resistance may be given to help you calculate another value that can be used in the formula.The formula uses the square root in some manner--you can get this in A C theory.
