TCO 4- moral reasoning is an argument with moral backing whereas legal reasoning is a sound argument based on law
TCO 4- A legal reasoning should be used for morals have no room in a legal issue
TCO 4- he is refering to the basic human rights brought about by the 14th Amemndment

TCO 4- this case spurred enormous interest in living wills and other advance directives that allow people to spell out, in advance, what treatment they want, and who should make decisions for them if they become incapacitated
