Most of the membrane-bound organelles in eukaryotic cells are not present in prokaryotic cells: nucleus, mitochondria, chloroplast, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, etc.
In addition, the DNA of eukaryotic cells is organized into chromosomes, whereas, in the prokaryotic cells, the DNA is circular.
