According to Durkheim, the "sacred" is the symbolic representation of society. Therefore, Durkheim would suggest that
A) that society is, in and of itself, a religion.
B) by worshipping God, we are in actuality, worshipping society.
C) belief in the sacred is not religious.
D) by worshipping society, we are all religious.
