Time for a field trip for some "people watching". Look for and note any "signs" of peer pressure in action. These can include clothes, products, foods, games, activities, verbal interaction, forms of popular culture or entertainment, or anything else that is currently "in" because young people think it is "cool".
Observation time of the small group interaction. Take note of the group dynamics, paying attention to the intimacy of group activity based on group size, the stability of the groups, and other observations. Note the leadership styles demonstrated by the activity"s actual leader, as well as those of the other leaders that emerge during the exercise.
