What complications might arise if large quantities of blood from a donor of type O were introduced into a recipient of any blood type other than O?

Thanks!

nothing. O blood works on any blood type as long as it is the correct for either positive or negative. O is screwed because only an O can accept O. i have -O blood, it is like the 2nd 3rd rarest blood type and i can only accept -O blood. i hate it.

Type O people are what is known as universal donors - means they can donate to people with any blood types.
It is the AB that are universal recipients - these can accept blood from any group but can only donate blood to their own blood type without complications.
