If a cell's Na to power of ((+))/ K to power of ((+)) pump worked in reverse and had more leak channels for Na to power of ((+)) than for K to power of ((+)), what would the ion concentrations of the cell look like?
A) Intracellular Cl to power of ((-)) would be increased, following Na to power of ((+)).
B) The cell would swell since water follows Na to power of ((+)).
C) Although the body tries to maintain an extracellular concentration of Na to power of ((+)) at 145mM, the intracellular concentration of Na+ would still be higher.
D) Intracellular concentration of K to power of ((+)) would still be higher than Na to power of ((+)) because the body tries to maintain an extracellular concentration of Na to power of ((+)) at 145 mM.
E) Intracellular anions would decrease in number.
