The drag force on large objects such as cars, planes, and sky divers moving through the air is Fd=-bv^2

a) for this quadratic dependence on v, determine a fromula for the terminal velocity (vt)

b)  A 75kg sky diver has a terminal velocity of about 60m/s; determine the value of the constant b.

2.  a 28kg block is connected ot an empty 1kg bucket by a cord running over a frictionless pulley.  the coefficient of static friction between the table and the block of .450 and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the table and the block is .320   sand is gradually added to the bucket until the system just begins to move

a) calculate the mass of sand added to the bucket.

b) calculate the acceleration of the system
