A. A buffer solutionís pH changes much less than an aqueous solution when a strong acid or base is added.

        B. A buffer solution is a solution that contains an ion and its parent weak acid (or base).

        C. A buffer solution can maintain its pH no matter how much strong acid (or base) is added.

        D. Blood and ocean water both maintain a stable pH value. They are examples of buffer solutions.
