1)What is 5n^2 times n^2?
2)What is n^2 over 5n^2?
[(n^2)/(5n^2)]

Since the variables are the same, you have an easy problem to understand.  When multiplying, add the exponents.  When dividing, subtract the exponents. You can do it!
