Is there any diffference between the lipo-protin membrane of mitiochondria and plasma membrane of a cell?

Not really, both are made up of a protein-lipid bilayer. Except for the mitochondria, it has two layers of this bilayer. One is outter and the 2nd one is inner. This is a very important feature because in between the 2 layers, that is where chemiosmotic energy is being built up to make ATP...but that's a whole different story right there,,but anyways, if you got any more questions, just email me ,ok , because I am here to help
