Scenario:
Family One: A Palestinian Home- Muhammed was born and grew up in the refugee camp. His father was killed in the 1949 war with Israel and his family home burnt down. He does not want his children involved in demonstrations, he is very religious.
Family Two: An Israeli Home- Born in Israel, his parents were both survivors of the Holocaust. He is a true believer in the country Israel as a Jewish state. Deeply religious he has been trained as a Rabbi. He runs a small grocery store and his employees are all Arabs. He always complains about how lazy they are yet he pays only the minimum allowed by law.

Question:
Within the Israeli home, Ben knows from the horrors faced by his parents what can happen when there is not a state of Israel in the world. He thus supports his state and will do anything to defend its claim to this region. How does this differ from Muhammed’s stance?
(A)It doesn’t differ; they both suffered death and loss, and they both simply want to protect their families.
(B)
Ben has more of a claim to hardship because his parents suffered in the Holocaust.
(C)
Muhammed has been wronged the most because he lost his land and his father to the cause.

A and B

C and D

All of the above

The Muhammedian stance differs from the Israeli state establishment in several ways. This can be attested by the perpetual stalemate between the Israeli state and its Islamic neighbors .

At the fore, Israel is viewed as a western tool in the middle east. The westerners are considered enemies according to the Muhammedian philosophy. Israel is thus perceived in suspicious light due to it's close connection with the US.

The Israeli state is founded on solid Jewish traditions which are antagonistic to Muhammedian principles. The Israelites believe they are special due their unique traditions while the Muhammedians see them as  heretics who do not deserve any right to live. The Israelis are well aware of plans to eliminate them and constantly fight for what they believe in.

The foundation of the Israeli state was bloody since many Palestinians lost their lives. The Muhammedians thus perceived the Israelis as a threat to their existence. This further explains the cold blood between these two parties.

After its establishment, the Israel nation has constantly had to face the brunt of hatred from the Muhammedians due to shared places of worship especially in east Jerusalem and West bank .This has led to perpetual stand offs between  Muhammed principle-guided people and the Jewish people. The Israelis are perceived to have confiscated places of interest from the Muhammedians.

The Israeli nation developed rabidly under its newly founded state in the middle east unlike it's Muhhamedian neighbors. Israel is considered to wield influence in the global arena. Its because of this reason that the Muhammedians have leagued in brotherhood in form of terrorist organizations like Hezbollah with the aim of bringing back their lost homeland from Israelis. The Israelis defend their land since they believe it is ancestral.

The above reasons explain the sharp difference between the Israelis and the Muhhamedian guided people.

A majority of the public wants the state to discriminate against Palestinians, says a poll published in Haaretz. The findings don’t reflect a failure in education, as some might argue, but rather the inherently discriminatory nature of the state and the result of decades-long occupation.
