1... Healthcare centers and clinics provide a wide range of services to meet the health needs of patients who are unable to access care elsewhere such as the homeless and poor. The patient who often sleeps at the homeless shelter would be eligible to receive health care at the community clinic. Day care programs, such as senior centers, are usually located where people gather for social, nutritional, and recreational purposes. Meals-on-Wheels is a program in which a hot nutritious meal is delivered to the patient in the home. Home care is a service for providing care to recovering, disabled, or chronically ill people who are in need of treatment or support to function effectively in the home environment.
