1... Coverage for care at home continues only as long as skilled providers are needed and the patient is considered homebound. The home meeting safety standards do not affect provision of Medicare services. The use of a wheelchair and assistance from others to leave the home does not constitute homebound. The presence of other individuals in the home does not affect inclusion for Medicare.
