i am doing a table of differences and i need to lay out the differences between the both systems, for example .hormonal system sends chemical messages whereas the nervous system sends electrical messages.

hmmm all i can really think other than that one is

nervous signals are instantaneous, and short lived
hormonal signals are slower acting, but last longer.

that and i know that some hormones (ie steroids) have their effect on gene transcription, whereas i believe that nervous control principally changes protein function.
