1 -- Severe hyponatremia can lead to seizures. Seizure precautions such as a quiet environment, raised side rails, and having an oral airway at the bedside would be included. Infection or neutropenic precautions and high-risk fall precautions are not specifically indicated for a patient with hyponatremia.
