Does anyone know the biological reason for why we get bags under the eyes after a bad nights sleep.  What happens at the cellular level that causes this and how can we reduce it?

I know you can cut fresh cucumber slices and put them on your eyes to help with the puffiness.. not sure what causes it really.

1. LACK OF SLEEP.
2. TO MUCH SLEEP.
3. IRRITATION TO GAS OR OTHER AIRBORNE PARTICLES.
4. POLLEN REACTION.
5. EYE SENSITIVE TO SUN (TO BRIGHT LIGHT).
6. RUBBING THE EYE AREA.
7. RED/PINK EYE.
8. EYE SKIN VIRUS/BACRERIA.
9. HEPITITUS.

Probably too much salt and/or caffeine intake & not enough water replacement.
when I drink a lot of diet sodas it happens to me!
