    • Interspecific competition is a form of competition in which individuals of different species compete for the same resources in an ecosystem (e.g. food or living space)

    • Intraspecific competition is an interaction in population ecology, whereby members of the same species compete for limited resources.

Good answer. Just to add, when these organisms belong to the same species it is referred to as intraspecific competition. When it occurs between individuals of different species it is interspecific competition.
