1,2,3,4,5 -- Pre-hospital management includes making sure the patient is free from further injury, assessment of ABCs, followed by the goals of stroke care, which are rapid recognition and reaction to stroke warning signs, rapid emergency medical services dispatch, rapid EMS system transport and hospital prenotification, and rapid diagnosis and treatment in the hospital.
