In my biology class we were asked to consider the ecological implications of bees becoming endangered species. I would like to see some opinions.

Bees help in the pollination of all plants, including fruit trees, which are essential to human life as food. In the case that bees became endangered, their numbers would reduce, and therefore the amount of fruit trees being pollinated would be affected, resulting in a mass decrease of worldwide fruit production.
