a)No interference from electromagnetic fields results in "clearer" connections

Since fiber optics is made of glass, and glass is an insulator, the hazard of electrocution from the glass itself is nil.  However, outside plant cable is often shielded with a metal armor or has metal strength members ran the length.  If these are in contact with live power lines even miles away then there is the very real possibility of electrical shock.
Still C is the best choice for an answer
